What We Offer
We train crisis supporters and counsellors how to down-regulate their own nervous systems during challenging interactions in order to remain calm and connected.
Our experiential workshops provide new skills for strengthening connections with help seekers and clients - safe-guarding the well-being of both parties.
Our Workshops
Holding the Line workshops enhance the skills and wellbeing of crisis supporters and counsellors. We offer experiential professional development workshops to not-for-profit, commercial and government organisations.
We cater to small-to-medium groups for face-to-face workshops (5 – 30 is optimal) and online workshops for larger, regional, remote or harder-to-reach groups (30+).
Our workshops can be delivered face-to-face or online, and are tailored to fit a variety of needs, ranging from two-hour workshops to half-day or full-day programs.
We also offer individual or small-group coaching (up to 5 is optimal) as a more intensive learning option.
Program Content
An introduction to the evidence-based benefits of embodied self-calming techniques
Individualised techniques to learn key micro movements that assist in calming the nervous system
Tailored mindfulness meditations to increase awareness of how emotions show up in the body
Small-group practices to apply and embed the techniques while actively listening
